It shreds each sheet of paper into 1257 micro-cut particles. It has a patented Safety Lock that disables the shredder for added safety protection. This shredder shreds up to 10 sheets per pass into 5/32 in. x ½ in. micro-cut particles. Plus, it can shred for up to 7 minutes before a 60-minute cool down period is needed. The Powershred 60 Mc has a pull-out 5-gals. capacity waste bin and can also shred staples and credit cards. It is backed by a 1-year product warranty.
